Terms of Service

1. Overview

S Guard (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides a platform to request, schedule, and pay for services offered by independent, licensed security professionals (“Guards”). We are not an employer of Guards, nor a law-enforcement agency.

2. Eligibility

To use the platform you must be at least 18 and authorized to contract for services at the service location.

3. Services

Services are performed by independent Guards. You agree that scope, instructions, and site safety must be lawful and reasonable. Guards may refuse unlawful or unsafe instructions.

4. Payments

Payments are processed via Stripe or a cash option with a platform surcharge. Booking fees and service fees apply. Minimum hours, overtime increments, and premiums may apply. Taxes, tolls, and parking are extra.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Please review Refunds & Cancellations. Certain fees are non-refundable, including the booking fee and cash-booking surcharge.

6. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee availability. S Guard is not an insurer and does not provide insurance. Emergency situations should be directed to 911.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the booking at issue, excluding pass-through Guard compensation.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless S Guard from claims arising out of your instructions, premises conditions, or unlawful requests.

9. Dispute Resolution

Florida law governs. Venue and jurisdiction lie in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new date above.
